AGROINCA AGROINDUSTRIAL COMPANY OF THE INCA GROUP

It began operations in May 1986 under the name of Agroindustrias del Colca S.A., developing its activities in two experimental agricultural centers located in the La Joya desert, 60 km southwest of the city of Arequipa.

Currently, Agroinca PPX's business units include the cultivation of avocado, pomegranate, asparagus and Andean grains, which are sold on the world market.

The History of the Inca Group

1957

First stone

Founding of the company Patthey & Corzo. Company dedicated to the export of alpaca fiber.

1965

Adding value

Formation of the Peruvian-Swiss Textile Company S.A., today known as Inca Tops, with the objective of converting alpaca fiber into fine yarn.

1980

Driving development

Created Condor TIPS and Industrias Tumi. Today merged into Incalpaca TPX, which manages the KUNA chain.

1980

Opportunities

Faced with the adversity of terrorism, they ventured into the agro-industrial sector with Agroinca PPX and Kero PPX.

1990

Innovative strength

It gave rise to the service company Inti Raymi and shortly thereafter to Collagua Inversiones y Desarrollo, which became Caja Incasur.

2012

Utilizing experience

The company Pachamama Gourmet (food production and export) is founded.

2015

Leveraging strengths

They are venturing into a different project, The Coffee Museum in Cusco, to accompany the restaurant brand El Ekeko, founded in 2002.

2017

New investments

ANANEA (automotive maintenance), Carmen Inmuebles (real estate), Colca Lodge (hotel project), Yanque Museum and Colca Explorer.
